Nautical Design Concept in Fishing Village of Camogli

Don’t let your limited space confine your style! This stylishly petite pied a terre is located in Camogli
, in the small Italian fishing village and tourist resort on the west side of the peninsula of Portofino. Inspired by it’s port side location with a beautiful view of the Ligurian Sea the architect, Lorenzo Trompetti from the Genovian firm Gosplan, referenced a nautical style where spaces are designed to maximize flexibility and where elements could be transformed for multiple uses. The living space required a bed room accommodating a queen sized bed, a single bed guest room, a office, bathroom, corner kitchen and living space with a sofa bed.  To compete the job they used customizable furniture,  furniture with hidden containers and/or compartments for storage and reduce surface use.
